breakfast
Restaurant on the first floor of the hotel. The omelettes are especially freshly made and delicious. There were many families with small children. (I wonder if this hotel is popular among families?)
Yukata Rental
Since we were in Kyoto, we rented yukata for a day, which cost about 3,000 yen until 6:00 p.m. There are quite a variety of yukata. There are quite a variety of yukata available. Also, it's quite nice that they offer luggage storage!(*^▽^*)
I had to wrap a towel around my waist when I put on the yukata, but I was very sweaty there. Also, I was not used to wearing this kind of clothing, so it was quite difficult to walk.
sasayaiori
Since it was morning, there was only one other customer and we were able to relax. The interior of the store is stylish with a Japanese atmosphere. This time, I ordered a kinako latte. It is very tasty when you add the gum syrup that comes with it!(Without gum syrup, it tastes like soybean flour flavored milk.)
taxi
I took a cab from Kyoto Station to Hanamikoji. There was a cab queue at the station, but the turnover rate was good, so I was able to get on the cab surprisingly quickly!(*´▽`*).(They come at a rate of one every 5 seconds 😎). However, I am disappointed that the cab driver this time had a bad attitude!"(-""-)".
imopippi
This time I ordered 1mm silk thread purple sweet potato and ice cream. This is interesting because you get to see the process of pouring the potatoes over the ice cream live. There are many of these stores outside of Kyoto, so please visit them!(*'ω'*).The taste is delicious, with a strong sweet potato flavor. It is also surprisingly hearty.
yasaka tower
It is a place of scenery often seen in pictures. Therefore, there are many people. Also, be aware that trucks sometimes pass by.
Tsuruya Chousei
Their signature item seems to be "soda sometimes kuzu ice cream", which is a drink with iced kuzumochi in it. I thought it might not be enough, so I ordered a large size, but I was surprised at how much it was!( ゚Д゚).There seemed to be only one waitress, and she seemed to be having a hard time.(;´Д`).Accounting is basically self-checkout, but only PayPay is not self-checkout.
Ninenzaka
This was the most crowded place, and you can feel the streets of Kyoto. There is also a Starbucks in a traditional two-story Japanese house that is over 100 years old.At a glance, it is hard to tell that it is a Starbucks. It is stylish and blends in with the landscape(*'ω'*).It is moved to the far left of the photo.
Yasaka Koshindo
It is a small shrine located near Yasaka-no-to.Many amulets, called "kukuri monkeys," are tied around the temple, making it colorful and photo-worthy.Therefore, it is crowded and has a high population density.
MATCHA GARDEN
It is a fluffy shaved ice store. There are two types of shaved ice: in-store and take-out, and I chose the take-out option because it was 200 yen cheaper.
※When eating in the restaurant, the waiter will decide where to sit, so be careful not to sit without permission.
It was very crowded and took about 20 minutes to order(;´Д`).There were about 6 flavors, but this time I chose Uji green tea. It is not unnecessarily sweet and you can enjoy the taste of matcha(*´▽`*).It looks like a lot of food in the picture, but since it is fluffy, it is surprisingly easy to gobble up.Also, the speed of melting is incredibly fast. (I was only taking a few pictures and about 1/3 of it had melted.;つД`).)
izumoya
The restaurant is located along the Kamo River. I ordered a bowl of unagi (eel) rice topped with a bowl of rice topped with a bowl of eels. I hadn't had eel in about 10 years, but it was still delicious!( *´艸`).(I had eaten more than usual that day and was full halfway through the meal(/ω\)).The view is very nice as it is along the Kamo River.
Sasora EAST
This restaurant is also located along the Kamo River. There is a terrace where you can enjoy your meal while looking at the Kamo River. I was full, so I ordered a pineapple juice (600 yen). My friend ordered a strawbaked rice cake, etc., which was quite stylish.
※From 5:00 p.m., it will be a Bar and a seating fee will be charged.
※Note that there is a gap in the floor of the terrace seats (I dropped 300 yen...)
Kurama
This store is located in the restaurant area in Kyoto Station. I had some time before the bullet train, so I stopped by. There are four kinds of plum wine, and I tried three of them. The Hanneri Kyo Umeshu was a light plum wine, the Uji Gyokuro Umeshu was a rich tasting plum wine, and the Yatsuhashi Umeshu was thicker tasting than the Uji Gyokuro Umeshu. I liked Uji Gyokuro Umeshu the best.(*'ω'*)
Finally.
This time I went to USJ and Kyoto, it was my first visit to USJ, so it was all new experiences and fun!(*^▽^*).There are many places in Kyoto that I have yet to visit, so I would like to go around next time I visit!(^^)/

breakfast
Breakfast was in the restaurant on the 30th floor; the view is very nice due to the glass wall on one side. (The view is very nice because of the glass wall on one side. You can also see the sea.)
It is buffet style and includes bread, rice, meat, fish, fruit, and crepes. I especially enjoyed the pumpkin soup and crepes. The crepes are baked one at a time by a machine and you can fill them with whatever you like. The one with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, and custard was sweet and delicious. (I feel so guilty because I'm about to become diabetic.);つД`)。
Spider-Man
We waited 80 minutes. We went early in the morning, but it was still quite a wait. The waiting line was indoors, so it was not hot and comfortable(*´▽`*) . There was a good amount of exhibits. The system is the same as the one in Haripota, with moving images and seats.
minion
sherbet
It was hot, so I got in line to buy a drink and waited about 60 minutes!(;´Д`).I honestly didn't expect to wait this long, so I was surprised!Σ(・□・;).While waiting in line you can watch the Minion face cookies being made.
Thinking about it, I got in line to buy a drink, but ordered a sorbet. Well, it was delicious, so it was OK. This one has a large cup and a slice of pineapple🍍, so it's more filling than it looks. (Even the cashier said it was very satisfying.) It is amazing that the staff at USJ is willing to talk to you, unlike at Disney.
attraction
We waited 70 minutes. It was hot because the waiting line was almost outdoors, disguised as an indoor area. The waiting line was divided into three parts in the middle of the day. (The staff was sorting them out so that they were evenly distributed.) The boarding areas are therefore different. This meant that the boarding areas were different. I am wondering if the content of the attractions will be different depending on the boarding area. I thought it would be a loose attraction since it is a minion, but I was surprised that it was quite intense Σ(・ω・ノ)ノ! (I thought it would be like Pooh's Honey Hunt).
lunch
We ate at the Discovery Restaurant. In the center of the building are dinosaur bones. It is quite large. The restaurant was crowded because of the collaboration with One Piece. (To the level of restricting admission). This time, I ordered the collaboration menu.
It was 2,200 yen. It was delicious, but the quantity was a little short. Well, it's a collaboration, so it can't be helped.(・´з`・)。I really liked the fact that the staff valued the world view, such as the unit of money being berries instead of yen, and the entry into the store being a departure from the ship.
jaws
We waited 60 minutes. The woman who captained the boat had a cool voice, but it was a bit streamlined. I can't help but think she's already done a few laps. There is a place in the middle of the attraction where real flames come out, and I was surprised to feel the heat even though it was a good distance away(゚д゚)!。(It was like having a hairdryer all over me.)
magic square
The turnover rate is good because many people can enter at one time. I didn't know about the magic battle, but I enjoyed it because of the amazing visuals.
haunted house
We waited 30 minutes. Turnover is high here as well. There were a lot of people, and since we had to follow right behind the people in front of us, it wasn't very interesting since we knew where the ghosts were coming from.
Nintendo World
Admission here is limited and you need a pass that can be taken on the same day to enter the park. We got ours when we entered the park at 8:00 AM, and the earliest we could get in was 16:40~.It's very popular😖.The quality is so high that when you enter, you really feel as if you have come to the world of Mario!(*^▽^*).
The attractions had a 100 minute wait. Even with limited admission, it still takes this long!(;・∀・).We walked around inside the Koopa Castle until we got to the boarding area. I was never bored with the various decorations.
During the ride, you will be given a Mario hat and a glass attached to the ride. The glasses are used to project images onto the glasses. Therefore, you need to wear the hat deeply to see the images. The attraction was very interesting and a good reproduction of Mario Kart, but I felt that the operation instructions were a little difficult to understand."(-""-)".
The description of the video makes it sound as if you are going to hit the shell on the crib, but in reality, you can score points no matter which character you hit.
By the time the attraction was over, it was dark outside.
The Royal Park Hotel Kyoto Umekoji
Basic Information
About 7,000 yen per night.
1 minute walk from Umekoji Kyoto Nishi Station.
Pets OK?
Convenience store (Famima) can be reached without going outside the hotel.
Starbucks is adjacent to the hotel.
Quiet and calm, even though it is only one stop away from Kyoto station.
There are several restaurants around (ramen, yakiniku, Chinese, pork cutlet, etc.).
It was very easy to go to a convenience store directly from the hotel. I also felt it was quite unusual to be near a large train station yet quiet at night. (Even with small children).
Issunboushi
A nearby yakiniku restaurant. At first I was planning to go to another restaurant, but they were all closing down, so this is the place to go. Lunch here costs around 2,000 yen. I only saw the lunch menu, so it was more expensive than I imagined. Seating is in a private room with a relaxed atmosphere.
In addition to meat, we ordered bibimbap and makgeolli. After all, good meat is tender and delicious!( *´艸`).It was a very luxurious dinner as I don't usually eat such good food.

11:40 a.m. Gyutan Charcoal Grill TRIKYU
12:40 p.m. Pokemon Center Osaka

3:40 p.m. USJ
9:00 p.m. Octopus shop Dotonbori Kukuru
00:00 p.m. Going to bed
Abeno Harukas
Approximately 20 minutes from Shin-Osaka on the Midosuji subway line. About 5 minutes walk from Tennoji Station. There were many restaurants inside. The admission fee to the 31st floor observation deck was 1,800 yen. The admission fee to the 31st floor observatory was 1800 yen, which was expensive, but the view was definitely better than the other floors, so I think it was worth it.
The restrooms also have glass walls so the view is nice, but a little scary. It is a rare sight, so if you go there, I recommend you take a peek.
There is also a cafe so you can take a short break. There was a warabimochi (rice cake), so I ordered it. It tasted like a normal warabimochi, but it looked stylish.
Gyutan Charcoal Grill TRIKYU
Beef tongue restaurant located in Abeno Harukas. The price is reasonable, around 1000~2000 yen. The beef tongue is tender and tasty. You can choose between salt and sauce.
Pokemon Center Osaka
It is located in the Daimaru Umeda Store. On the same floor are the Nintendo Shop Osaka, Capcom and One Piece stores. All of them were reasonably crowded, but the Pokemon Center and the Nintendo Shop were especially crowded. It took me 20~30 minutes to pay at the cashier.
T-shirts with the picture of the acrylic key chain in the photo above were sold. I thought about buying the Rioreus one because I liked the design (the story is about the first Rioreus flying in the sky all the time.) ) I liked it and thought about buying it, but decided not to because the price was too expensive. (About 5,000 yen a piece.)
Cafe Granche
We waited for about 30 minutes and were finally able to enter the restaurant. Is it a popular restaurant? This time I ordered a waffle and cafe au lait. It takes quite a long time from the time you order to the time they are delivered. This is a little disappointing.
The waffle is covered with strawberry sauce and comes with ice cream and whipped cream. It was especially delicious with ice cream. There were about 7 people waiting when we left the restaurant, so we felt it was quite popular.
Hotel Keihan Universal Tower
Hotel Information
- About 10,000 yen per night.
- Breakfast about 2000 yen.
- Open-air bath
Fee 2000 yen (It was so expensive that I was not sure whether to enter or not.)
Free Hagen-Dazs or beer
Free soft drink (free refill)
- There is a bath in the room.
- Luggage storage available before check-in and after check-out (free coin lockers with special coins. You can get it when you tell the hotel staff.) (This is quite nice because it allows you to travel light at USJ.)
- TV (Youtube, Amazon Prime Video, etc. are not available. This is another point of disappointment. You can watch Haripota on the quality of CRT TV.)
USJ
We purchased a 1.5 day pass this time, so we entered after 3:00 p.m. on Day 1. I felt that the downside of USJ is that, unlike Disney, you can only choose to have your tickets issued at a convenience store or delivered. I was surprised to see so many people on the first day, even though it was a Friday and a weekday.
Harry Potter
We went to the Harry Potter area first. Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey was an 80 minute wait. It seems to be very popular. The waiting line is outside until halfway through, so it is hot. Once inside the castle, it is cooler. There are many exhibits inside the castle, so you won't be bored. (I don't know anything about Harripotta,
I didn't know what the story was).
You have to leave your luggage in a locker before the ride, and I felt that the traffic jam there was quite congested, which also affected the wait time. The attraction is a type where the seats move while you watch a video (similar to the Spiderman attraction). It was quite interesting to feel the sense of speed despite the images. You don't have to know much about Hollywood Potter to enjoy it.
There was a spot where I could take a beautiful picture of Hogwarts Castle. The water in the lake is dark, so it reflects well and makes a beautiful picture. (I was a little curious what they were mixing in the water.)
butterbeer🍺
There was a frozen one and a regular one. This time I went for frozen because it was hot. The taste is neither butter nor beer, but caramel macchiato. It is three times sweeter than I imagined. I like sweet things, so I liked it. The price is a little expensive, about 800 yen.
flying dinosaur🦖
It was a 100 minute wait. There is nothing special in the waiting line, so you will be quite bored while waiting in line. I'm not a fan of roller coasters, so I was nervous the whole time I was in line. I was nervous the whole time I was in line because I am not good at roller coasters. I was happy about that, but my head hurt for a while after I got off because my head was facing downwards. I was so nervous for a while after I got off the ride because my head was facing down.);つД`)
Halloween🎃
We had a Halloween event. There were all kinds of ghosts: zombies, vampires, big monsters, zombies with chainsaws, etc. The quality is insanely high. If you are not careful, they will surprise you from behind. I was scared the whole time so as not to be taken by surprise. I was surprised to see how many people can dance 💦. The white queen-like ghost, vampire, and chainsaw zombie were especially popular and drew crowds. The white queen-like ghost and the vampire are probably beautiful men and women inside. You could tell even through their makeup.
Gasoline around the chainsaw zombies? I was wondering if the chainsaw was real, because it smelled like gasoline around the chainsaw zombie. If it was real, I would be surprised at the amount of effort put into it.
Octopus shop Dotonbori Kukuru🐙
It is located in Universal City outside of USJ. I heard that this place is quite famous, and since I went there around 8:00 p.m., it was crowded everywhere. Since I had come all the way to Osaka, I decided to have takoyaki (octopus dumplings) because I wanted to try something unique to Osaka. This time, I chose one with four different flavors. There were many people in the restaurant and it was hot and humid (almost like a sauna). (It was almost like a sauna). All the flavors were delicious, but it was a little disappointing that we were not given water.
convenience store
There is a Seven and a Lawson near the station. Both were so crowded that when I went there around 9pm, I had to wait in line to get in the store. I was surprised because I have never seen such a long line at a convenience store before!( ゚Д゚)。It was empty when I went there around 10pm. (Seven was out of business hours.)
open air bath
It is on the 31st floor so the view is very nice. The system is that you give your room number when you enter and pay when you check out. There were four types of baths: sauna, water bath, jet bath, and regular bath. The view from the bath is hard to see because the glass is a little cloudy, although you can see outside. Also, the shower comes out as a mist, so it is difficult to use. The Häagen-Dazs you get after the bath was many times better than usual.
The lower right of the photo above is USJ. It is quite beautiful from above.
an extra
I took some beautiful pictures, so I'm posting them here.
I especially like this photo because it has the feel of downtown America at night.
Finally.
I have changed the style of my blog a little this time. I have tried to use emojis and other characters to make it more enjoyable for everyone to read. I am still new to blogging, so I will probably change my style from time to time in the future. (;^Ω^). Still, I hope you will continue to read it.
Miho no Matsubara
Hello! I would like to write about my visit to Miho no Matsubara.
I'm not goot at English. So, some sentences may be difficult to understand. If you have any questions, plz coment here or write Inquiry Form. I'll reply it.
Schedule
11:30 a.m. running away from home
1:50 p.m. Miho no Matsubara
2:30 p.m. mihoshirube
2:50 p.m. Miho Shrine
3:00 p.m. Casetta di Shu
3:40 p.m. Departure from Miho no Matsubara
6:00 p.m. come back home
way
I drove all the way along Route 1. There are many roadside stations where you can take a break.
Miho no Matsubara
Free parking is available at Miho no Matsubara. Motorcycles, cars, and bicycles can be parked there. The location is just before Miho no Matsubara, so you can get there by following the google map.
There was a very large pine tree. It seems to be related to the legend of the Tennyo (heavenly maiden).
Fuji could only be seen as a head because it was cloudy that day. Also, I had imagined it to be covered with snow, but it was different from what I had imagined, as it does not seem to be covered with snow in summer.
Post from RICOH THETA. - Spherical Image - RICOH THETA
This is said to be the monument of Japan's New Three Views, but I could not read what it said.w
mihoshirube
It is like a museum about Miho no Matsubara and Mt. Fuji. It was free to visit, and the inside was air-conditioned and cool. There were paintings and ceramics depicting Mt. You cannot take pictures inside. You can also go up to the roof, and apparently you can see Mt. Fuji from the roof if the weather is nice. This time I could not see it at all because of many clouds.
God's Way
The path is planted with pine trees on both sides. It is perfect for a leisurely stroll.
Miho Shrine
Walking down Kami no Michi from Miho no Matsubara, it appears in front of you. There were about 10 people, which was surprisingly large.
Casetta di Shu
Cafe on the street of God's Way. Pasta and bread are available. Bread takes about 15~30 minutes to be made to order, but it is very tasty. The interior is decorated with a lot of wood and has a calm atmosphere. There is also terrace seating, so it might be nice to go outside in the spring or fall.
This time I ordered a mini mango Danish, custard pie and Shizuoka green tea latte (iced). The pie was crispy and delicious. The pie was crispy and tasty (note that the custard was freshly made and hot). The Shizuoka green tea latte was sweet and delicious with cream on top.
gas station
Gasoline prices were low at ENEOS on Route 1. Because it was cheap, it was quite crowded.

Yonaguni Airport
You can be picked up and dropped off to arrive a little early. You will have a little time to look around the souvenir shops, but if you want to take your time, we recommend that you look at them the day before. The Awamori jelly does not taste much like Awamori and is slightly sweet, so even those who do not like Awamori will enjoy it.
lunch
I had the Po-Tama set meal (800 yen) and the Rafty (700 yen) at a restaurant called Nannu Island, located on the street next to one of the Euglena Malls. The set menus are only served during lunch time. The po-tama was a bit salty. The raftae was tasty.
souvenir
I bought a wallet. 10,500 yen. I had bought the same one before and wanted something different, but nothing attracted me, so I went with this one.
Ishigaki Airport
It was very crowded because of the Obon season. I was glad I had arrived at the airport early.

White rice, sausage, scrambled eggs, miso soup with eggplant, salad, tsukiage (deep-fried fish paste), and dragon fruit.
The tsukiage was especially delicious.
Yonaguni Post Office
I went there for travel savings and landscape stamps. It is located in the village. The westernmost post office is not here, but the Kubura simple post office.
4.5 tatami mats beach
Narrow beach with graves all around. You probably can't swim because of the strong current. Half of the trash that washed ashore came from China. (I could feel that Taiwan is very close).
Shikinajima Clinic
Location of Dr. Koto. It costs 200 yen per adult to enter the clinic. We did not go inside.
white sandy beach
It is located next to the clinic. The waves are calm, so it is good for swimming. The beach was quite wide.
Handmade Bread & Cafe Panes
The only bakery on the island. In addition to bread, there are also Okinawan soba noodles and desserts. This time I had swordfish bone soup soba and a long life grass smoothie. The soba not only had swordfish in the broth, but also had swordfish meat in it. The Chomeiso smoothie was not a sweet one.
Dannu Beach
This spot is famous for its photo quality. This photo was actually taken from the public restroom building. The toilets no longer seemed to be in use.
Mt. Urabu summit
I thought I might be able to see Taiwan if I went up to the top. The highest point on the island. You can ride a motorcycle to the top of the mountain, and from there it is a one-minute walk to the summit. The entrance to the road to the summit is not easy to find; it is about 100 meters before the NTT relay station. The summit has a beautiful view of the island, but the road to the summit is not well maintained, and you will have to wade through grass most of the way.
Moist Roll Cafe
It is located in the village on the west side. Ask the store staff for parking and they will tell you where to park. If you are on a motorcycle, you can park in front of the store. This time, I had the roll cake set and an iced brown sugar chai drink. There are two kinds of roll cakes, one is a regular flavor and the other is a brown sugar flavor. Both were delicious. I had never had chai before, but it was delicious with a hint of sweetness from the brown sugar. There were quite a few customers and it seemed to be a popular store.
battleship rock
A rock with the appearance of a warship. Nothing else in particular.
eastern tip of a cape
Lots of horses and cows. Good views of the surrounding area. Be careful, there are a lot of animals in the parking lot and on the road.

dinner
Summer vegetable soup curry, swordfish carpaccio, white rice, vegetables, and mango jelly.
Carpaccio and mango jelly were especially delicious.
I ordered an additional island banana shake (350 yen). It was sweet, cold and delicious. I wanted to drink several more.
Sono Harbor
Since I returned my motorcycle, I could not go to the westernmost monument to watch the sunset. So we went to Sonai Harbor, which was close to the village and where we could see the sunset. It was a five-minute walk from the village. It was cloudy and we could not see much, but we could see it just before the sunset. I hope it will be clearer next time I come back. Note that there are places on the bank where there are gaps about the thickness of a smartphone.
an extra
There were many cockroaches on the street at night. The average level was 3~4 roaches per minute.
